Jermaine Eluemunor Takes Aim At Jaxson Dart, Giants Locker Room Narrative

Offensive tackle Jermaine Eluemunor ranks among the most experienced players on the New York Giants, so he should have a better gauge on the pulse of the locker room than most.

Amid the newfound controversy brewing in New York over starting QB Jaxson Dart's decision to introduce and praise President Donald Trump at a recent event and pass rusher Abdul Carter's rebuke of that move, Eluemunor has decided to address the issue.

Earlier this morning, Ben Volin of the Boston Globe declared that Dart "just divided his locker room." Eluemunor took to X a short while ago to refute that, stating the "locker room is fine."

"Locker Room is fine. Focus on New England," Eluemunor wrote.

Sighs of Relief?

Some Giants fans breathed sighs of relief that there aren't any issues with the locker room over a fairly divisive political issue, while others remarked that Eluemunor's decision to speak out suggests that he's lying and just doing damage control.

"There genuinely couldn't be a better person to have on this franchise Eluemunor the goat," one fan wrote.

"Running to twitter to convince us. lol so sure locker room fine," wrote another.

"Oh no Jaxson Dart supports Donald Trump and Abdul Carter doesn't! What are we gonna do! Probably be normal grown men and get on with life," a third wrote.

"With all due respect, it doesn't seem fine with Carter."

"People get dramatic online. Real life tends to be much calmer."

At the end of the day, whether Carter has an actual problem with Dart over his political views or not, the two are going to have to overcome them and work together. The Giants aren't going to get rid of Dart over his views and Carter isn't going to request (let alone be granted) a trade over it either.

There are going to be some baiting questions in training camp over this whole kerfuffle, but by Week 1 everything is going to be normal again.
