Letter: Personal responsibility a parking lot casualty

What has happened to “personal responsibility”? Someone broke the rear glass on my car’s back right light on Aug. 17 and left white marks and gouges in two places. It used to be that one left his or her name and phone number to let you know they were responsible so you could contact them. No, not now. It’s not a big thing, but it shows that the person couldn’t hold himself or herself responsible for such a deed.

I am constantly amazed by the people in the parking lots backing up or going in without even looking at the situation. Do they think they are the only people in a car?
