Here we go again.
A few weeks ago, it was $50,000 for legal fees because one of our Hilton Head Island Town Council members was emotionally distressed about comments made about her.
Now it is $200,000 for another study about whether we need a larger and more grand entertainment venue, when we can’t even support the smaller version we presently have without the town contributing $500,000 annually.
I was under the assumption that this idea was going to be on the November ballot, so why spend that money when the vote can very easily be negative about the entire premise?

When is the Town Council going to realize that tourists come here for the beach and golf, not to see a Las Vegas production? Or do they really care what the majority of the “common folk” think?
If they want to blow $200,000, why don’t they consider something useful like a homeless shelter? When does this frivolous spending stop?
