Too much concern for the evil-doers

Now let me get this straight. Someone out there, is concerned that a convicted murderer/rapist of a child might feel some pain during his execution. Then there is the guy who they can't find a vein to insert the fatal injection.

Now just what is happening to society? Or am I nuts? Anybody out there remember the electric chair? Or the firing squads? They used to hang murderers by the neck until they were dead or the rope severed their heads entirely. There was also drawing and quartering.

I think if we think hard enough, we could figure out a way to rid civilization of unneeded vermin and maintain a clear conscience. What do you think?
