Obama promised unity but he didn't deliver it

I almost feel sorry for the Americans who voted for President Obama in 2008 and 2012. As the first black president in our history, they believed that he would unite Americans. Yet, he has divided us more than any president in more than 50 years both racially and economically.

Almost every one of his domestic and foreign policies has made America worse off. To name a few: ObamaCare; the IRS scandal; rejecting the Keystone pipeline; working to shut down coal-fired energy plants, claiming without proof that man-made carbon dioxide increases are creating climate change; his war on business and capitalism; Benghazi; Egypt; Libya; "red line" Syria; "no nukes" Iran; withdrawing troops from Iraq; announcing the date we were certain to withdraw from Afghanistan; appeasing Putin, not supporting Ukraine when the Russians overtook Crimea and later, eastern Ukraine; a belief that Israel was at fault for the failure of the Palestinian peace talks; removing a promised missile defense system in Eastern Europe; illegally trading five terrorists for one American private ... and so the list goes on and on.

To quote that famous philosopher Forrest Gump, "Stupid is as stupid does."

Lately, we are beginning to hear the word, impeachment, related to what should be done about Obama's illegal actions. While not currently possible, might it be after the November elections? We live in hope.
