Money for everything except public education

It's nice to see the Beaufort County School District's budget get cut again. We can help fund a useless runway extension at Hilton Head Airport. We can build another park no one uses. We can erect some more iron horse sculptures. After all, these are much more important then children's education. There were only 35,000 high school drop outs in the state last year. I'm sure all these kids will get high-paying jobs.

Beaufort County's elected officials have decided what's best for us. By some measures, South Carolina ranks 48th in education. With these people in charge, I'm sure we will be first in a couple of years. Make sure you vote for the County Council incumbents in November.
