Protests root causes not hard to figure out

To those who don't "get" the recent protests:

  • Spending $2 billion a week on wars against people with a 12th-century mentality who don't like us, will never love us, want us gone and relish killing us.
  • Unbridled greed by Wall Street and banks.
  • Young people who graduate with debt in the five figures and slim chances of getting a job in their fields of study.
  • Our crumbling infrastructure and schools.
  • Anti-union sentiment.
  • Corporate outsourcing of jobs.
  • Massive unemployment and home foreclosures.
  • And last but not least, the political gamesmanship in Washington while all of this is happening.
  • Can you hear me now?
