As agent for the owners of the properties commonly referred to as South Island Square, I am obliged to respond to a recent letter to the editor.
As a practicing architect on Hilton Head Island for 39 years, I leave lighting-level decisions in any zoning district to the good offices of the town's planning staff and Design Review Board.
Although the properties in question are, in reality, already largely commercial use, there is absolutely no interest in increasing existing light levels in South Island Square.
