2012 election will show value of ongoing protests

The protests against Wall Street and the financial policies of the two reigning political gangs are refreshing to see, and I hope they will cause grave discomfort to the intended recipients.

The measure of effectiveness of this "99 Percent Movement" will only be truly judged at the outcome of next year's November elections when we see if we really can throw out the present occupants of the seats in the branches of government, be they from the left, right or tea-hadists.

We have done a miserable job in exercising sound voting judgment in the past few decades.
