Perry right on futility of building border wall

Let me remind those advocating building a wall between Texas and Mexico that history tells us it does not work.

For example, the Great Wall of China was built to keep out hordes of invaders; today, it's a tourist attraction. The Berlin Wall was built to keep human beings apart, and it was torn down. Even the Great Wall of Jericho came tumbling down.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry is right in suggesting that part of the solution isputting boots on the ground.

Perry's state being at the doorstep of the problem makes him the most knowledgeable candidate and therefore the best-suited to solve the overall immigration problem.
