An April 21 front-page story on reported that the National Labor Relations Board has declared that a private corporation, Boeing, cannot move to a different state (South Carolina). Excuse me?
Why? The union in the state where Boeing operates didn't like Boeing expanding elsewhere. Is this the United States of America?
With this edict, federal bureaucrats are claiming that free enterprise is no longer free, that a company (or individual) no longer has the right to move to a different locality to do business? (I wonder if that would apply to solo business owners.) It will be interesting to see what precedent for this new regulation they are able to come up with.
Kudos for publishing this as a front-page story, which it clearly is.
