Natural gas vehicle offers solution to $4 gas

I'm sick and tired of $4 a gallon gas -- again.

I want to buy a natural gas burning automobile and fuel it myself in my own garage. According to the U.S. Department of Energy's Renewable Energy Laboratory, natural gas vehicles produce up to 95 percent less particulate matter and carbon monoxide emissions than diesel or gasoline-powered models and up to 80 percent less nitrogen oxide emissions.

There are only 110,000 natural gas vehicles on U.S. roads and, get this, more than 12 million natural gas vehicles operating worldwide. We are the Saudi Arabia of natural gas, and there's only one vehicle somewhat available in the U.S.

All major automobile manufacturers make natural gas vehicles and the simple garage refueling systems are already in use. It's already here, it's safe and it doesn't need to be invented. It's clean, it's cheaper, and it's American. Or maybe this is another Democratic conspiracy?
