In the dark about better power options

I'm trying hard to save on my power bills.

I have strived to be energy-efficient by keeping thermostats at 71 degrees, and putting on more clothes and blankets.

Everywhere I go, I hear of people with the same problem.

What must we do to keep power and keep our children warm?

Is solar power an option in South Carolina, or must low-income or disabled people turn to wood-burning stoves?

As for me and my family, the only lights and heating we will be able to afford soon will be candlelight.
