I found it interesting that Beaufort County's Southern Corridor Review Board denied the architectural plan for the Olive Garden restaurant planned for one of the outparcels at Tanger Outlet Center 1.
It seems the review board doesn't believe the stone and tile to be used in construction is indigenous to the Lowcountry. I guess the aluminum siding on the retail center being built approximately 200 yards away from the proposed Olive Garden is indigenous to the Lowcountry. Makes sense to me.
