I was delighted to see Beaufort County schools featured in Monday's Gazette. It's gratifying to see how teachers find ways to creatively involve Beaufort's children in social, architectural, historical and environmental projects.
As we start into our next 300 years, it is encouraging that the future leaders will have an understanding and appreciation of what makes this place so special. We're lucky to have so many advocates in the school district promoting the arts and environment and making us all proud of Beaufort County schools.
Keep up the good work encouraging the arts and Beaufort's unique environment.
