Town should improve use of Shelter Cove park

During the recent holidays, I took my grand kids to Shelter Cove Community Park for some exercise. I had previously been to the park for other events.

The park is indeed beautiful and scenic, but it sits there largely unoccupied except during these specific events.

Why not provide some infrastructure for children to play in, such as at Jarvis Creek Park or Chaplin Community Park? The investment would be small when compared with the cost to build and maintain the park.

One wonders what the town fathers were thinking when the facility was built. Let's not waste another precious resource, as we do with the Compass Rose Park. Our families and tax dollars deserve better.
