Beaufort County is under a curfew, according to officials.

The curfew, which started Friday, will be enforced from sundown to sunrise, according to Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Capt. Bob Bromage.

That curfew could be extended past Saturday if conditions warrant, Bromage said.

“It’ll be strictly enforced,” he said. “People are advised to stay inside for their own safety, based on the weather.”
