Good morning! There is a flash flood advisory in place until 7 p.m. tonight for coastal areas of the Carolinas today because of a high-rainfall system off the coast that could dump more than 3 inches on the region.
The chance of rain in and around Beaufort County is about 75 percent. Today's high will be around 67, which will drop just 4 degrees to about 63 overnight, according to AccuWeather.
The rest of the week is looking much drier. Rain chances drop to 7 percent or lower through Thursday, then climb to about 25 percent Friday. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s except Friday, when they will be in the high 60s. Overnight lows will be quite chilly, in the mid to low 50s.
