Wendell Roberson, deputy director of the Beaufort County Board of Elections and Registration, will be on hand at the next Northern Beaufort County Democratic Club meeting to answer questions about the upcoming election process.
The meeting will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Oaks True Holiness Church, 548 Sea Island Parkway on St. Helena Island.
During the free, public event, attendees can register to vote in the Nov. 4 election. Roberson will provide free voter photo-ID cards to those who bring two valid forms of ID, which can include a birth certificate, a Social Security card, or a government-issued ID card, according to a news release.
Hispanic community leaders will also discuss their concerns about the registration and voting process, the release said.
