Ward 3 voters can begin voting absentee in person at either of the county'selection offices at 61-B Ulmer Road in Bluffton or at 15 John Galt Road inBeaufort. Polling hours are 9 a.m. To 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Voters may also request an absentee ballot application immediately bycontacting the Board of Elections and Registration at 843-255-6900, by emailat firstname.lastname@example.org, by fax at 843-255-9429 or by visiting one their offices.If making request by phone, fax or email, please include your name,registered mailing address and date of birth. Elections officials recommendthat completed applications be returned as soon as possible. By law,applications cannot be accepted after Friday, Feb. 11 to vote in the Feb. 15election.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 15. Absentee ballots must bereceived at either county elections office by 7 p.m. the day of theelection.
By state law, absentee ballots handed to poll workers at island precinctlocations cannot be counted.
