A deluge of Twitter rage descended on North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory Thursday after news broke that the NBA was likely pulling the 2017 NBA All-Star Game from Charlotte in response to the state’s House Bill 2.

The bill, which mandates that transgender individuals use bathrooms in government buildings corresponding to the gender on their birth certificates, has been called discriminatory by the NBA.

Earlier this year NBA commissioner Adam Silver warned Charlotte could lose the game unless significant changes were made to the bill.
