Agriscience is coming to the Technical College of the Lowcountry in August through a new certificate program to prepare students for occupations in farming, landscaping, and golf-course and pest management.
The program requires 29 credit hours and emphasizes three occupational areas: diversified agriculture production, landscape occupations and turf. A required internship in a chosen area of interest will give students hands-on experience.
Registration for the fall semester ends Aug. 15, and classes start Aug. 21. Prospective students can apply for free at www.tcl.edu/apply.
