A 70-year-old Seabrook man was killed in a two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon, according to the Beaufort County Coroner's Office.
Olamina Oguntosin Oyewole was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident in Sheldon on Paige Point Road, between Back Gate Road and Paige Point Bluff, Deputy Coroner David Ott said Sunday.
A forensic autopsy conducted at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston determined Oyewole died of blunt force trauma.
Oyewole was driving a Chevrolet southbound about 12:20 p.m. when his vehicle ran off the road, he overcorrected and crossed into opposing traffic, where he was T-boned by a pickup truck, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.
