Beaufourt County Sheriff’s Office responded to River Oaks Road home in Lobeco on Tuesday after a car there was found extensively vandalized.
The silver 2011 Nissan Maxima was damaged some time between about 5 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. on Tuesday, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office report.
The car sustained about $8,000 in damages included slashed tires; smashed headlights, tail lights and windshield; a white powdery substance poured into the gas tank; and scratches all over the exterior including profanities scratched into the side and hood, according to the report.
