A Port Royal man was given a 10-year suspended sentence and five years of probation Tuesday after pleading guilty to punching a woman in the face outside her home, according to court records.
Terrance Morgan was charged in August 2013 with aggravated assault after he broke the Port Royal woman's jaw and caused several facial fractures. He had punched her when she told him to leave her home, according to Port Royal police. He had gone to the home to speak with his girlfriend, but she locked herself in her car after an argument, police said.
