2 arrested on drugs, weapons charges

Two Hilton Head Island men were arrested after a traffic stop yielded stolen drugs and weapons, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

Dillon Booth Clark, 22, and Jeffrey Dale Donaho Jr., 25, told deputies they were "looking for girls" when they were pulled over at about 8:30 a.m. Sunday for driving erratically, a news release said.

Marijuana and a stolen gun were in the car, as well an open liquor bottle, a stun gun, a flare gun and a stolen iPad, the release said.

Clark had marijuana and cocaine along with prescription medications for which he had no prescription, one of which had been stolen from a home on O'Connor Road that morning, the release said.

Clark was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and cocaine, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Clark was previously convicted of strong arm robbery, according to the Beaufort County Detention Center log. It is unclear if he was other felony convictions.

Donaho was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, receiving stolen goods and an alcohol violation.

Both are being held for prosecution, according to the Beaufort County Detention Center log.
