A 3-year-old girl was found walking alone through the Westbury Park neighborhood in greater Bluffton on Friday morning, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office report.
A landscaping crew found the toddler walking through the neighborhood near the community's pool at about 9 a.m., wearing only a diaper, the report said.
A neighbor of the girl's called deputies and told them it was the fifth time she had been found walking in the neighborhood alone.
The girl's grandmother and uncle, who had been watching the child, told deputies they thought she was asleep. The girl's uncle found a downstairs sliding glass door unlocked, the report said.
