Man flashes Hilton Head tattoo parlor employee

A 19-year-old Hilton Head Island man faces misdemeanor indecent-exposure charges after he exposed himself to a female tattoo shop employee Saturday night, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office report.

At about 10:30 p.m., the man, who appeared to be drunk, entered the store and asked for a tattoo. Realizing he was too intoxicated to be tattooed, she asked him to leave.

A few minutes later, she saw him drinking alcohol outside the front door. He again entered the store and was asked to leave.

He then came into the shop a third time, walked to the front desk and pulled down his pants. He left and was later arrested, according to the report.

During the trip to the county detention center, he ripped a radar antenna in a deputy's cruiser, causing about $500 in damage, according to a report.

He remained in the jail Monday. Bond was set at $12,130, according to the jail log.
