Monday's crime reports

The following reports were released Monday by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office:

BEAUFORT

ASSAULT

  • Luella Street: Man threw a pry bar at his grandfather and vandalized his vehicle after a dispute about money. Damage: $100.
  • PROPERTY DAMAGE

  • Hampton Drive: Duct work destroyed by two dogs. Damage: $800.
  • VANDALISM

  • County Shed Road: Tahoe window shot with BB gun. Damage: $500.
  • County Shed Road: Accord window shot with BB gun. Damage: $500.
  • BURTON

    SHOTS FIRED

  • Castle Rock Road, VFW: Deputy saw several people and vehicles on the edge of the road. He heard 10 shots fired from a rifle. Three shell casings were found, but no victims.
  • BLUFFTON

    THEFT

  • Pendarvis Way, Sun City Hilton Head: Unknown amount of jewelry stolen. Damage to residence: $150.
  • Cherry Point Road: Gucci purse worth $300, Prada purse worth $500, Chanel purse worth $500 and Breighton bag worth $500 stolen from residence.
  • HILTON HEAD ISLAND

    BREAK-IN

  • Folly Field Road, Island Club: Purse worth $30, credit cards and $183 in cash stolen from rental unit.
  • Mi Tierra, Fairfield Square: Liquor worth $123 and TV worth $250 stolen from restaurant.
  • THEFT

  • BRN Construction, Haig Point Circle: Power tools worth $1,000 stolen from construction site.
  • Holy Family Catholic Church, Pope Avenue: Cash and coins worth $200 stolen from donation boxes.
  • Burkes Beach: MP3 player worth $100, wallet worth $50, driver's license and $80 in cash stolen from bag.
  • VEHICLE BREAK-IN

  • Mathews Drive: Apple MacBook Pro worth $2,000, cellphone worth $20 and vehicle registration card stolen.
  • Coquina Road, Port Royal Plantation: Laptop computer and accessories worth $1,540 stolen.
