Part of the right-turn lane on the west side of William Hilton Parkway, between Old Wildhorse and Squire Pope roads, will be closed 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through July 15, if weather allows the Hilton Head Public Service District to perform sewer work in the area.
No travel lanes on William Hilton Parkway will be affected by the partial turn-lane closure, according to a news release. Westbound drivers will be able to make right turns onto Old Wildhorse and Squire Pope roads but should use caution in the work zone.
The work is part of a project to bring public sewer service to the Old Wildhorse and Squire Pope areas.
