A Sun City Hilton Head man found dead Saturday after being reported missing Thursday likely died of natural causes, according to preliminary autopsy results.
The body of 63-year-old Angelo Begonja was found at about 3 p.m. Saturday in a wooded area near Sun City, Jasper County Coroner Martin Sauls said.
Preliminary results from an autopsy performed Monday at the Medical University of South Carolina show Begonja died of some form of heart condition, Sauls said.
"He was found not quite a quarter-mile from his home," Sauls said. "I'm not sure what he was doing out there. He could have become disoriented."

Begonja was last seen at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday by his wife, Maxine, at their home on Mystic Point Drive when he left to go to a neighbor's house and never arrived, according to a Sun City news release.
The search involved multiple law enforcement agencies. On Saturday, Hardeeville police officers used Beaufort County Sheriff's Office dogs to search the woods near the gated community.
