BB&T employees and Boys & Girls Club of Beaufort members and staff celebrated the opening of the club's renovated art studio Tuesday.
More than 20 employees of the Lady's Island and Port Republic Street branches of BB&T spent 100 hours painting, equipping and decorating the studio, according to a club news release.
Work included a new sink, cabinets and storage areas. Volunteers also added window treatments and organized art supplies. BB&T bought arts-and-crafts supplies, including cameras for the photography club, the release said.
