A patron at Luther's Rare and Well Done on Beaufort's Bay Street allegedly threatened to stab an employee who had asked the man and his friend to leave because the bartender had cut them off, according to a Beaufort Police Department report.
The two men left but returned moments later. The employee told them again to leave, and one of the men, a Bluffton resident, pulled up his shirt to show three metal throwing knives and threatened to stab the employee, according to the report. The men then sat on a bench behind the business.
Police charged the 31-year-old Bluffton man with public drunkenness, assault and possession of a concealed weapon within city limits, the report said.
