Levonowich settles for 2nd at WSCGA Junior Girls Championship

Kelsey Badmaev of Blythewood continued her steady play with a 2-over-par 74 in the final round to win the Women's S.C. Golf Association's Junior Girls Championship on Friday at Sunset Country Club in Sumter.

Badmaev entered the final round with a two-shot lead and held off Hilton Head Island's Minami Levonowich for a four-shot win.

Sydney Legacy of Columbia came in fourth overall and was the low finisher in the 13-15 age division, and Jensen Castle won the nine-hole division by six shots over Hilton Head Island's Anna Lesemann Eddy.
