Hospice Foundation, TCL to offer webinars

The Hospice Foundation of America will work with the Technical College of the Lowcountry to present three free webinars this summer that address spirituality at life's end.

The "Living With Grief" sessions will be offered from 1 to 2:30 p.m. May 11, June 8 and July 13 in the enrichment center in Building 23 on the college's Beaufort Campus.

Each webinar identifies tools to help patients, clients, parishioners, family and friends in managing grief.

Clemson to offer free landscape classes

A Clemson extension agent will give environmentally friendly yard- and garden-care tips in the Hilton Head Public Service District's community room on Oak Park Drive. The free classes will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. each Wednesday in May.

No registration is required.

Banker to discuss Thatcher's tenure

An international banker who lived in Britain during Margaret Thatcher's tenure as prime minister will present a lecture on Thatcher's transformation of the country from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Center for the Arts on the University of South Carolina Beaufort's Beaufort Campus.

Noel Sloan will assess Thatcher's achievements and place in history, according to a news release from the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at USCB.

Tea and scones will be available before the lecture.
