    Heritage pro-am spots still available

Two pro-ams before this year's Heritage golf tournament are nearly sold out, organizers say.

More pro-am spots than usual were available this year because Hilton Head Island's PGA Tour event lacks a title sponsor, which typically purchases several slots. Prices were lowered to make the events more attractive, according to a news release. The Heritage is scheduled for April 21-24.

Spots for the Monday pro-am are $2,250 or $8,000 for a foursome. Spots for the Wednesday pro-am are $4,500 or $16,000 for a foursome.
