Jasper County administrators soon will seek public comment on a stormwater-management program, intended to help the county "balance environmental protection and sustainable economic development," according to a news release.
Planning is under way with consultants from Thomas & Hutton. Meetings with an advisory group and the public will follow.
The project will be funded in part with a federal grant and contributions from the Lowcountry Institute and the Port Royal Sound Fund.
