Beaufort County residents can toss their old computers, TVs and other electronics for recycling at two sites from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 29.
The electronics will be accepted free of charge and can include printers, scanners, surge protectors, DVD players, telephones, cell phones, calculators and electric motors.
Personal and tax papers also can be brought for shredding.
The locations are the Shanklin Road site near Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort and the Ulmer/Benton Field Road location off Burnt Church Road in Bluffton.
