Monday's crime reports

A Burton woman was awoken early Sunday morning to a honking horn and a woman waving hammar and knife, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office report released Sunday.

The woman told police she woke up at about 2:15 a.m when she heard a car horn in front of her home on Kennedy Circle.

When she looked out of the window, she said there was a car in her driveway and a woman screaming profanities and holding a hammer in one hand and a knife in the other. The resident told the other woman to leave and said she was calling the police. The other woman got back into her car and drove away.
