Crime reports Wednesday

The following reports were released Wednesday by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office and Beaufort Police Department:

  • Talbird Road: Car tires slashed, vehicle spray-painted. Damage: $250.
  • Prince Street: Window of patrol car smashed by 16-year-old boy, who was arrested. Damage: $290.
  • BLUFFTON

    BREAK-IN

  • Bluffton House Apartments, Simmonsville Road: Full-sized mattress and box springs worth $3,000 stolen. Deadbolt, door of apartment broken. Damage: $425.
  • Cape Jasmine Street: Panasonic Viera 46-inch HD TV worth $1,100 and golf clubs worth $2,000 stolen. Lock on rear sliding glass door broken. Damage: $100.
  • VANDALISM

  • Bluffton House Apartments, Simmonsville Road: Four tires on SUV punctured. Damage: $900.
  • BURTON

    THEFT

  • Patterson Construction, Shanklin Road: Tools worth $3,060 and electronics worth $800 stolen. Damage: $900.
  • Graffton Drive: Cell phone worth $425 stolen.
  • DAUFUSKIE ISLAND

    THEFT

  • Daufuskie Discovery, Haig Point Road: E-Z Go golf cart worth $1,500 stolen.
  • HILTON HEAD ISLAND

    BREAK-IN

  • Royal James Drive: Digital camera worth $120 and Sony MP3 player worth $75 stolen from residence.
  • THEFT

  • Harbourside Lane: 1.5-carat platinum and diamond engagement ring and platinum and diamond wedding band worth $17,000 stolen.
  • Blue Jay Way: Catalytic converter from 1995 Chevrolet Camaro worth $1,300 stolen. Exhaust system broken. Damage: $200.
  • Jonesville Road: $214 in cash stolen from unlocked SUV.

  • Bryant Lane: Car worth $6,000 stolen.
  • ST. HELENA ISLAND

  • Sea Island Parkway: Household goods worth $2,500 stolen. Damage to home: $450.
