The volunteers, staff and board of directors extend grateful appreciation to the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry for a community impact grant award for 2012 in support of Bluffton Self Help's educational assistance program.
Much as we rely on all of our donors, this award will make a meaningful impact. It will provide the means for some of our neighbors to improve their lives by pursuing a college degree or technical certification, thus enabling them to earn adequate salaries to move themselves out of poverty. This is an exciting endeavor, and we will definitely keep the community informed on the progress. Anyone interested in learning more about the educational assistance program is invited to contact Bluffton Self Help.
Thank you, Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, for helping us help our neighbors.
