The Grateful Hearts Soup Kitchen would like to say thank you to the Sea Pines Montessori Academy Middle School students.
The students collected coins and dollars in "soup pots" during morning carpool Feb. 1 for the national Souper Bowl of Caring Challenge. Their generous donation of $374.71 was greatly appreciated and will be used to feed the homeless and hungry people living on Hilton Head Island. We would like to openly express our gratitude to all of you, not only for your monetary donation, but also for volunteering to serve the food and fellowship with our guests who joined us for lunch that day.
It was gratifying to observe these young students serving others with "grateful hearts" and smiling faces. We thank you, SPMA students, for your enthusiasm and your servant's hearts. God bless you.
