"A Case for Diversity in South Carolina Courts" will be presented at a free public forum at 7 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Visual and Performing Arts Center at Hilton Head Island High School, 70 Wilborn Road on Hilton Head Island.
The forum will feature a panel of knowledgeable participants in the selection process for judges in our state.
Barbara Zia, co-president of League of Women Voters of South Carolina, will present an overview of the South Carolina Judicial Diversity Project as sponsored by the National League and funded by the Brennan Center for Justice. Guests are invited to attend a free public reception following the panel discussion.
