The Child Abuse Prevention Association recently began offering the Cribs for Kids program, which aims to reduce infant deaths by providing an appropriate sleep environment through education and safe cribs. Since 2004, 266 organizations in 48 states have signed on as Cribs for Kids partners and have been providing safe-sleep education with the intervention of a crib to families who cannot otherwise afford one. If you are interested in getting involved with this program, contact Gloria Duryea at 843-524-4350.
