Breast cancer charity holds Bluffton crawl

Carolina Cups, a local nonprofit breast cancer charity, will hold the third annual LoCo Crawl to the Cure today at the Calhoun Street Promenade in old town Bluffton. The crawl will start at 4 p.m. and participants will rotate between Corks, Captain Woody's, 9 Promenade, Mi Tierra and Bluffton BBQ. Special events are planned at each pub and "crawlers" will receive giveaways and food/drink specials. There will be a friendly cornhole competition, live music, trivia, costume contests and other themed activities. Registration is $25, and participants can register at www.carolinacups.org. Money raised benefits the Hollings Cancer Center at Medical University of South Carolina, Beaufort Memorial Hospital Keyserling Cancer Center, Beaufort-Jasper-Hampton Comprehensive Health Services, the Mayo Clinic and Northside Hospital.
