The Red Cross Service Center in Bluffton will host two disaster services training sessions this month:
- Jan. 22: "Client casework," from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., is a how-to for conducting effective interviews with Red Cross clients affected by a disaster. The course is open to current volunteers. Reservations are required.
- Jan. 25: "New volunteer orientation," from 6 to 9 p.m., is an introduction to the Red Cross mission with emphasis on disaster services and the opportunities for volunteer involvement and participation. The course is open to individuals considering participating in the Red Cross. Reservations are required.
