The following reports were released Saturday and Sunday by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office:
May River Road: Officers charged a 30-year-old Bluffton man with first-offense criminal domestic violence for allegedly throwing a beer bottle at the head of his 21-year-old girlfriend and choking her during an argument, before taking money from her and driving off.
Bluffton Parkway, Bridgepointe Condominiums: vehicle valued at $20,000 stolen from parking lot.
HILTON HEAD ISLAND
Fleeing from law enforcement
Greenwood Drive: Officers charged a 19-year-old Hilton Head Island man with fleeing to evade arrest or detention for allegedly running away from law enforcement after being suspected of drinking underage and giving a false name. He also was charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol and use of another's identification. A 20-year-old Hilton Head man also was charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol.
Marshland Road: Vehicle door dented in parking lot. Damage: $1,500
Tanglewood Drive: Hand gun valued at $450 stolen. There was no forced entry.
