Coastal Discovery to celebrate 25th year

The Coastal Discovery Museum will mark its 25th year on Hilton Head Island with a celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Honey Horn. The event will allow families to visit the museum and participate in programs for free. Activities will include: "Lowcountry Animals" at 11 a.m. and noon; sweetgrass basket making demonstrations; blue crab discovery; tours of the butterfly enclosure; and meet marsh tackies Bullet and Honey Horn May. Barrier Island Barbeque will offer samples and sell food.
