A Seabrook couple were unharmed after their boat capsized Sunday night in the Huspah Creek near Paige Point Landing.
A 35-year-old man was on a boat with his wife at about 8 p.m. when he stood to put fuel in the vessel, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office report.
The boat capsized, and the couple fell into the water. They were able to turn the boat upright while the 41-year-old woman yelled for help.
Both got back into the boat and began bailing water. The motor wouldn't start, and the man -- afraid the boat would sink -- got back in the water and began pulling it toward land.
