Wednesday was another day to be cautious outside as heat indexes exceeded 100 degrees.

But the tournament must go on. Many golfers at the Rolex championship at Long Cove on Hilton Head Island resorted to umbrellas for shade to keep from becoming overheated while competing on one of the hottest weeks of the year so far. The forecast for Thursday's final round is for partly cloudy skies with a high of 88 and a 30 percent chance of rain.
